Gunnison is seeking a highly qualified, trained, and experienced information technology Senior Business Analyst with an exceptional ability to understand the goals and objectives of a system, the needs of users, and the opportunities and limitations of technologies.  This career opportunity supports a large program to provide support for medical logistics systems, medical inventory, documentation, training, and IV&V services. 

Location: Ft. Detrick, MD - Some telecommuting opportunities

Sr. Business Analyst


This individual will serve as the lead business analyst supporting high quality relevant training and documentation solutions as well as defining acceptance criteria on testing scenarios.

  • Understand and anticipate emerging requirements.
  • Understand how system components are integrated.
  • Understand end-to-end system processes.
  • Develop and maintain the models and documentation required to show how a system meets requirements.
  • Support documentation, testing, and training activities.
  • Present demos of end-to-end system processes
  • Serve as a resource to help the team make appropriate system- and component-level design decisions during implementation.

  • 4+ years of IT/BA experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to pass a US Government Background investigation (national agency check, Secret or TS not required).


  • Medical Logistics experience
  • Business Analysis certification (e.g. Professional in Business Analysis (PBA), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP))
  • Agile certifications
  • IT certifications
